Silky Oak Child Protection Policy

All Silky Oak Community staff and volunteers are responsible for providing safe environments and must recognise, respond to, and report safety, welfare, and wellbeing concerns for all children and young people. We have zero tolerance for child abuse or neglect and we offer additional support to children and young people impacted by trauma. Our staff all hold Working With Children Checks.

Our Child Safety Code of Conduct sets out the expected behaviour of adults with children and young people in our care. All Silky Oak Community staff, volunteers, contractors, service providers, and any other adult involved in child-connected work must follow the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
